Camcorder models are changing as quickly as the tide. SILVERFISH will continue to be.

SILVERFISH is a new underwater housing for different camcorders, thus you won't have to stick to a certain manufacturer when you choose the successor model for your camcorder.

One SILVERFISH for all. That's a special pleasure for diving clubs and diving schools. Members having suitable camcorders can share the SILVERFISH.

The SILVERFISH and the SILVERFISH P version

The SILVERFISH is obtainable in two different equipment variations. The standard type controls the pure video operation of the camcorder and offers the functions "manual focus short distance (F-)" and "manual focus long distance (F+)".

The "P version" of the SILVERFISH differs in offering the additional option "photography". The function "manual focus" available for the standard type of the SILVERFISH is deactivated in the P version.

The push button switch labeled with "manual focus long distance (F+)" has been assigned to  the function "Backlight (BL)" in the P version. For example, you can use the push button switch "BL" for back lighted shots.

Instead of the push button switch "manual focus short distance (F-)" you will find the push button switch "M" in the P version. By using this push button switch you can switch over between camcorder and photography mode. The push button switch "start/stop recording (Rec)" corresponds to the shutter release in the photography mode.

Except for the deviations mentioned above, the "P version" of the SILVERFISH is absolutely identical in construction with the standard type of the SILVERFISH. All remarks regarding operation, handling and maintenance of the equipment equally relate to the P version. The guaranty conditions apply to both types of equipment as well. The available spare parts are compatible to the P version as well as to the standard model.

Because of its versatility, uncomplicatedness and robustness SILVERFISH is also suitable for commercial rental, e.g. in diving bases or diving shops.
