About the Housing

CNC machined from aerospace-grade 6061 T6 aluminum and finished with a MIL-A-8625 anodized coating plus baked-on powder coat paint, the AZ8 is built for the harshest environments. All control shafts and push buttons are made from T304 stainless steel for long-lasting durability.

The housing supports both Z-mount lenses and F-mount lenses via the FTZ adapter, which can be removed without disassembling the camera from the housing. A lens release for both F and Z mounts is included. All camera functions are accessible from the housing.

Controls are spring-loaded and self-centering for ease of use. Simply install the mounting tray on the camera and slide it along stainless steel guide rails — setup is quick and intuitive.

The included Surveyor Vacuum System (valve and pump) ensures peace of mind, allowing you to verify the housing is watertight before diving.
